[Dream Cast] Trinity Blood - Part 2.2: The Vatican - Ax Agents

(Originally posted on a certain fan fiction site)

The Vatican - Ax Agents

1.2.7 William Walter Wordsworth (Professor)
William aka Professor's characteristic and physical appearance is probably the easiest to find a suitable actor out of all the roles. He's the typical British gentleman who is super intelligent and loves to invent random stuff from useful to useless. Although we can probably list more than 10 actors that can portray his character quite perfectly, after hitting who I considered THE MARK, I stopped searching for anyone else.

Yes, I do realize that his official age is about a decade give or take older than Caterina and Kate, it even shows in both anime and manga adaptions; but idk, I feel like since a lot of time film versions hold adjustments to their liking, William's age isn't really a serious issue (though for his background story, which would in someway involve with his age, is something I would like to elaborate more, probably will discuss it in another post later.) Anyway, here goes my choice; again this is just me, feel free to nominate and share whoever you think that could be even more suitable!
Luke Evans:
I admit I've only seen him in Furious 6, but based on that spectacular performance alone, I honestly think he's perfect for this role. He has the look, the accent, the ability to act calculating, smart, and with a weird sense of humor (he also does cruelty quite well, though I don't think it's needed for this character).

If his age is an issue for the fans, I can only say that by the time William has major appearances in the 5th and 6th story arcs, Luke would probably look even more like the character's supposed age (on the other hand, let's just hope that my choices for Caterina and Kate won't age horribly by then).

1.2.10 Monica Argento (Black Widow)
The sexy ambiguous Sister is introduced in the 4th story arc (of which the arc itself was completely ignored in the anime adaption; fortunately it was at least featured in the manga version), yet her presence is so strong that leaves her still very memorable afterwards. I have three very, VERY different actresses in mind; however, although they all have European ancestry, none of them are of Italian heritage, which based on the character's background story (daughter of a Mafia), and her last name, seems to be the case; so I've also listed two other names, that based on appearance I think might work, but know nothing of.
Megan Fox:
After wondering what she's doing now and Googling her and her photos, I thought 'Ooooo her sexy appearance and borderline devious, mischievous expression could pass as Monica!'. I do have to say it here though, because of her sexiness, I've also listed her as candidate for other characters. I've only seen her in two movies: Transformers (nope, I did not watch the 2nd installment of this franchise) and How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Her gorgeousness completely blew my mind away in the first said film, and because of the character she played in the 2nd said film, it showed her ability to act as a different type of person (whose ugliness inside can ruin the beautiful outside).

She is the only one out of my three main choices that has the body to pull off how Monica dresses, though I'm not completely sure if she can do fighting scenes well (my only concern), I guess if she ever wanted to challenge herself with another badass sexy role, this time much crueler, then this is it.

Monica Argento - Trinity Blood - Monica Argento

Anne Hathaway:
I totally did not realize until I looked it up that she is probably one of the actresses I listed with the MOST awards and nominations! Time flies and her career really blooms! She is in fact the actress I've personally seen the most works of (statement not counting actresses starring in TV shows, as they played single characters long-term.), 11 movies in total as of now. However, despite being a fan, I do feel that most of the roles she played (if she were the main character), can be all seen as the same character; just with different circumstances with slightly modified background stories, essentially all with the exact characteristic: a good girl that got wronged. The only one that really stood out from the rest is Rachel Getting Married, the first time I've finally seen her showing various range of emotion (was super impressed with this performance.)

I guess we could also see her as a slightly different characters in Get Smart and The Dark Knight Rises; but take the 2nd said film for example, the role did have loads of potential, yet with all the stuff going around within the movies, she was overshadowed and then forgettable. Because of the effort she showed in the above mentioned action films, I feel that if she truly wanted to break away from the typical character she usually plays, there's nothing better for her to take on Monica Argento! Would like her to really have an badass role and kick some asses (and unfortunately later on being kicked, but the fight scenes featured this character is no doubt the most epic).

Monica Argento - Trinity Blood - Monica Argento

Eliza Dushku:
I've seen her in True Lies, Race the Sun and Bring It On, but I KNOW her from the hardcore role she played in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (when the character was featured in the 4th and the 7th season) and the same character's guest appearance in Angel. Granted, she may be a little too short for the role, but she'd definitely be able to do a superb job on Monica's attitude and the fighting scenes! If she's looking for a film that would showcase her with the said certain qualities, and with good portion of screen time, Monica would be it!

Monica Argento - Trinity Blood - Monica Argento

! Michelle Lombardo ! / ! Gia Mantegna ! :
They both have the looks that might be able to pass as Monica, though I have no idea how well they act. The later mentioned actress may be a bit too young (as of now), but since if there were indeed film adaptions, the character appears much later in the series so I don't think it'd be a problem. Would love to hear some thoughts!
