Maddie sat up and took the mug her friend held out to her. The rich balm of chocolate and cinnamon and a dollop of gooey whipped cream went straight to her fizzy brain, bypassing conscious thoughts.

Creamy, cheesy, with light flaky pastry and the tang of spinach.

A box of pop tarts, A jar of instant coffee and some tea bags. A half of bag of stale hot dog buns. A single package of instant hot chocolate mix that would make Sage weep. A couple of marshmallows. Potato chips and cheese nip until the end of time, though. And they were set in the condiment department.
