It became clear to me that, it's rather unlikely for me to use this blog as my "main" reviewing spot since I have Goodreads for that, and chances of someone miraculously stumbling across this blog out of the countless ones out there, is just rather slim, therefore, I'd put up links to my GR reviews (in English,) and this post would be in Chinese for people who are curious about the series but either aren't comfortable with or just don't prefer reading in English. 這個封面不是我的菜，本來也沒在我雷達上，完全是因為網友有提到、啊第一集還Choice Awards提名，不過最終讓我決定讀讀看的原因，其實是因為我有另外一部海洋題材的系列預計要看，乾脆一起，重點是這部有不同版本封面（笑死，超膚淺xDDDD）

（無法看過多文字的人，歡迎直接跳到列表，但是我覺得澄清某些事情還是蠻重要的，所以背景說明才會擺前面。）

最初我本來不管是標題還是labels都是標[Source Material vs. Adaptation]的，甚至一開始撰寫、放在草稿的前幾年，我內文都還不小心寫成「我看的小說版是原作、如果漫畫不一樣/有少、就是漫畫簡化了」的語氣，但事實也可能不是這樣。

會變成有那種語氣的原因是，不知道為什麼中文和英文維基頁面真的都沒有提，我覺得中文頁面呈現的資料，相對容易讓人誤會成「2010至2011年出版的小說系列『《ゴーストハントシリーズ》[Ghost Hunt series]』，就只是重新出版、改標題及包裝和冊數的『《悪霊シリーズ》[Akuryō series; 惡靈系列]（1989至1992年出版）』」（這是錯的！）。

有看得懂嗎？就是說，因為漫畫版的事件標題剛好比較接近新出版的小說系列（下稱新版、改寫版）的書籍名稱，舉改寫版第二集和第七集來說，我當時應該就是聯想成「《人偶的牢籠》就只是《悪霊がホントにいっぱい！》改名」、「《打開門扉》就只是《悪霊だってヘイキ！》改名和上下集合併成一集」；但事實（依據改寫版的書中簡介）不是這樣，裡面皆強調新版是原版「經過大幅改寫重新出版」。

いなだ詩穂(稻田詩穗)作畫的漫畫版於1998至2010年出版，即是說，它改編的對象本來就是原版惡靈系列，任何漫畫版和改寫版的不同，也有可能是原版和改寫版的不同所造成的差異，而不見得是漫畫版簡化「原作」（不是說不可能，但不是「唯一的可能」）。漫畫版相較改寫版缺少的內容，真的有可能是改寫版相較原版新增補充的也不一定。

至於為什麼還是出現這麼多「可能是因為怎樣怎樣」，是因為，嘿抱歉，台灣好像沒有翻譯出版原版啦！我沒有看過原版，所以當然不能篤定不確定的事情，但覺得有必要強調這些可能，因為真的不一定是「漫畫版刪改」，像第五事件某對話中的舉例，除非是長鴻翻譯剛好誤差值過大（請看附表，基本上即使翻譯不同都還是認得出來它在翻什麼），不然「亞雷克斯·道南斯」真的看起來就不是「Ed and Lorraine Warren」，就是說兩版本舉例有不同。（「亞雷克斯·道南斯」我還真找不到資料，有人知道歡迎提供耶！這樣才能列到附表，哈哈）

所以啦！上述語氣問題是2024重新檢視和補內容才終於修正（但如果還是有那樣的感覺，歡迎指正耶！）（labels還是保留，因為沒有類似的分類，這個最接近）。現行送出的網誌內容，可以看到第三和第五事件文字明顯較多，那兩個就是2024年更認真比較後補充的😂 原則上當然希望其餘的也都要比照辦理，只是這篇躺在草稿將近3年，我真的覺得很不okay，所以就下定決心先發佈再慢慢補了。

這一篇其實就是我2021 Year End Recap中提到「超過90%完成」的網誌笑死。以當時的角度來看（請參考現行第一、第二和第四事件的文字敘述長短），我只缺第六和第七事件，真的會以為已經大部份完工了😅 附表1在2021年的時候只有列到Nina Kulagina，後面的是2024年新彙整。附表2在2024新增4筆。這兩個表都還有可能再更新。（我還有可能再開一個，和尚的咒語（？）翻譯對照比較😂）

啊然後，給不知道的人：這部作品也有動畫化（於2006年10月至2007年3月播出），我曾經有機會看，但當時太膽小連第一集的一半都沒看完笑死。光是漫畫版和改寫版的不同都寫這麼多了，動畫版真的就先擱置了（至2024還是沒看啦😂）。

1. ゴーストハント原著小說改寫版（下稱小說） | 尖端翻譯 | Ghost Hunt惡靈系列
2. ゴーストハント原著小說漫畫版（下稱漫畫） | 長鴻翻譯 | 奇幻貴公子

• The 1st story arc:
  1. 第1集 | 《舊校舍怪談》
  2. 第1集 | 長鴻未翻譯案件名稱；原文標題採小說改寫前的名稱《悪霊がいっぱい!?》
     • 漫畫沒有約翰和Noll確認其實黑田能力不一定消失這件事（被暗示了），也就沒舉例。

• The 2nd story arc:
  1. 第2集 | 《人偶的牢籠》
  2. 第2集 | 《娃娃的家》
     • 漫畫沒有出現幫傭阿姨、花園的工友，因此：
       • 準備點心、被火險些燒傷的是繼母香奈。
       • 沒有猜忌虐童嫌疑的橋段。
       • "過去歷史"直接由Noll轉述"託人去查到的結果"。
     • 未著墨不可思議性（櫃子裡面滿滿是東西整個被翻顛倒，重量是好幾個人聯手才翻正）。
     • 收錄番外篇《公園的怪談!?》，原創案件但部分對話出自小說（真砂子是否有Noll把柄、約翰的『金主』推測，漫畫用"Patron"一詞）。

• The 3rd story arc:
  1. 第3集 | 《少女的祈禱》
  2. 第3集 | 《下課後的詛咒》
     • 漫畫「案件已有委託人來過」採倒敘手法且只有一人(v3 ^p.6-7)，小說是完整呈現在序章裡，是一群女生(v3 ^p.5-11)，委託人之一名字有公佈：伊東清美(v3 ^p.11)。
     • 漫畫和尚（瀧川法生）的樂團主唱是「今市」(v3 ^p.9)，小說主唱沒有具名，反而被和尚說不夠好、如果是Noll來當，樂團早就出道(v3 ^p.18)。
     • 漫畫麻衣在跟和尚說湯淺高中的委託案已達三件時，沒有提及委託人名和細節(v3 ^p.14)，小說除了再次提及伊東清美，加補充三浦聰子和久我山實里(v3 ^p.22)。
     • 漫畫隨即實地到湯淺高中，伊東清美身份證實(v3 ^p.20)但未提及她委託原因之朋友姓名（小說：泰田茉美(v3 ^p.30)）；久我山實里(v3 ^p.21-22)和三浦聰子(v3 ^p.22-23)雖登場（與小說順序相同）但未公佈姓名，三浦聰子的胃穿孔朋友事件(v3 ^p.23)有被提及但未具名（小說：小英(v3 ^p.41)、英香鈴(v3 ^p.97)）。
     • 漫畫（相較於小說）：
       • 沒有掰彎鑰匙的朋友澤口瑞穗（小說：v3 ^p.80）（即都是笠井千秋弄的）。
       • Noll制止笠井千秋使詐的情節(v3 ^p.52-54)，小說有舉例有名的蓋拉信徒：瑞士的席維歐·梅耶(v3 ^p.86)。
       • 簡化許多更深層的原因和省略還蠻多事件的，直接跳到鎖定Noll。
         • 小說第三章有七節，第一節之外（約50頁的內容）幾乎都沒有出現在漫畫：未出現小高（高橋優子）和笠井千秋的互動，話劇社集體未登場。
         • 小說第四章有六節，最後一節的最後一部份有明確出現在漫畫，其餘一樣繼續未出現小高和笠井的互動，沒有透露小高讚美笠井文筆好且也加入文藝社這件事。怪談三種類和真砂子看得見的靈，漫畫沒有。（但文藝社後來有揭露(v3 ^p.167，對應小說v3 ^p.298)）。
     • p.76有校正疏忽，標點符號錯置。其中一人名『·』誤用『、』還沿用到p.78。
     • p.78有99%誤翻，『義大利』的『歐力娃·迪威斯』😂。
     • 田徑隊顧問姓宗城（小說v3 ^p.184）在漫畫不具名，田徑隊欺負對象（小說v3 ^p.245）也因漫畫沒有澤口瑞穗而為笠井千秋(v3 ^p.116)。
     • 吉野老師全名吉野廣造（小說v3 ^p.284）漫畫未登場。
     • 收錄僅2頁的番外篇《捉鬼特攻隊》。

• The 4th story arc:
  1. 第4集 | 《死靈遊戲》
  2. 第4＆5集 | 《被禁止的遊戲》
     • 漫畫：
       • 沒有小說前一集登場的高橋優子和笠井千秋與SPR的持續關係。
       • （相較於小說）節奏很快，直接跳到推測起因為全校熱衷玩靈神(v4 ^p.41)/靈仙(v5 ^p.24)。
       • p.101，這一段小說有舉實例。
       • 第5集細節沒提，『換位置』這件事不明顯，小說中有明講『這不是隔壁班的嗎？』。
     • （相較於小說）未著墨案件教師的欠揍機車程度。
     • 第4集收錄番外篇《寂靜的聖誕節》。

• The 5th story arc:
  1. 第5集 | 《鮮血迷宮》
  2. 第6＆7集 | 《血染迷宮》
     • 漫畫主角群之外的受委託人數目較少，且同行對象略不同（括號裡為同行者）：
       • 漫畫：v6 ^p.29 井村賢照／五十嵐智繪（鈴木直子）／南麗明（厚木秀雄、白石幸惠、福田三輪）。
       • 小說：v5 ^p.35 三橋芳命／聖忍（上原美紀、厚木秀雄）／五十嵐智繪（鈴木直子）／井村賢照／v5 ^p.36 南麗明（中原清明、白石幸惠、福田三輪）。
       • 即是說漫畫相較小說少了4人。
     • 漫畫南麗明吹噓認識的名人除了Uri Geller，是亞雷克斯·道南斯(v6 ^p.31)，小說是華倫夫婦(v5 ^p.44)。
     • 漫畫Winchester Mystery House和槍(v6 ^p.50)基本上完全就只是name-drop，小說解釋較詳細(v5 ^p.63-65)。
     • 漫畫厚木秀雄和福田三輪可以說是沒有台詞，小說厚木秀雄提到「神隱」和「活祭品」(v5 ^p.97)、福田三輪提到「靈線」(v5 ^p.100)。
     • 漫畫沒有輔助解釋「浦戶」和「烏拉德」的關係，就直接說「原來『浦戶』就是『烏拉德』」(v7 ^p.63)...😂小說有稍微比較好一點，說「原來『浦戶』（Urado）指的是『弗拉德』（Vlad）」(v5 ^p.282)，但基本上不會日文的人可能還是比較難懂，因為對會英文的人來說，給的這兩個詞唸法並沒有超級無敵像。不過對日本人來說，浦（うら）戶（ど）跟V（ヴ）la（ラ）d（ド）已經算很接近的了，而且小說有寫到「選的人大概是找不到相同發音的適當漢字」，也有承認「Vlad的發音其實更接近Burado」（again, 對會英文的人來說，並沒有接近到哪裡去xD）(v5 ^p.288)。
     • 漫畫事件結束後，尾聲麻衣向森小姐探聽Noll時只有她們兩人，小說另外含高橋優子和笠井千秋在場。

[Books in Books] Cassidy Blake - Victoria Schwab

Right, I've thought about how to go about this; the amount of references definitely tops most of the [food in books] posts, which featured one single book per post. On the other hand, I honestly thought it's quite abnormal to so heavily reference another fandom, to a point that I don't really want to spend more posts documenting this phenomenon lmao. I guess this will even out those really short food posts I have out there, bahahaha. Feel free to let me know if I missed any!

City of Ghosts (Cassidy Blake, #1)

• Ch. 6
• And then the luggage starts tumbling out onto the carousel, and the first thing I see isn’t the red and yellow stripes of my suitcase (yes, I’m a Gryffindor), but the boy riding cross-legged on top of it. He loves making an entrance.

• Ch. 7
• The Lane’s End reminds me of that scene in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, where Harry arrives at the Order’s headquarters—which is actually Sirius Black’s house—but it’s hidden by a spell. One of the wizards taps on the stones out front, and the buildings slide apart to reveal the headquarters sandwiched between.

• Ch. 8
• I brace myself for something creepy or ghoulish, but Mom leads me down the road to a place called the Elephant House, a bright red café with a banner that proudly announces:
  Birthplace of Harry Potter
  “No way,” I say, following her inside.
  I’m in awe as Mom and I explore the café.
  Apparently, it was here at the Elephant House where author J. K. Rowling—the J. K. Rowling—dreamed up Harry, and Hermione, and Ron.
  Here, she sat at one of the wooden tables and created Hogwarts, and Azkaban, and Diagon Alley.
  Here, she invented Quidditch, and the Triwizard Tournament, and the Deathly Hallows.

• Ch. 11
• Findley is waiting for us in the sitting room. He’s a stocky man with a trim beard and a bald patch in the middle of his red curls that makes it look like he’s wearing a crown. He reminds me a little of a redheaded Hagrid.

• Ch. 16
• “Are you a fan of Harry Potter?” I ask her.
  “Are you asking because I’m English?”
  “No,” I say, “I’m asking because it’s Harry Potter and it’s amazing. And the author wrote the books here!”
  Lara lifts her chin. “Well, the history of the Elephant House is contested among locals.” She hesitates, adding, “But I’ve always fancied myself a Ravenclaw.”
  “So you are a fan!”
  She cuts a sideways glance at me. “Let me guess, you’re a Gryffindor.”
  I beam. “How did you know?”
  She looks me up and down. “Reckless, headstrong, most likely to charge into a situation unprepared.” The edge of a smile. “Plus, you’re wearing a red and yellow Hogwarts sweatshirt.”

• Ch. 19
• We cut through the nearest building, which, according to the banner on the wall, is the Great Hall. My first thought is that it looks like the dining hall straight out of Harry Potter.
  “Pigworts!” announces Jacob triumphantly. “Broom ball! Crowpuff!”
  He’s never actually read the books, which he knows drives me crazy, but he also knows I don’t have time to sit and turn ten thousand pages for him, so I broke down and showed him the movies.
  “It’s like that scene with Tumbledore and the Magic Hat!” he exclaims gleefully.

• Ch. 21
• “Why are you here?” I ask.
  He looks around fondly. “Suppose I’m not ready to say goodbye.”
  “And Lara lets you stay?”
  He chuckles softly. “We all need someone who sees us clearly.”
  Huh. Maybe Lara has a soft spot after all.
  “And maybe I’m Skull Shooter,” says Jacob. “No offense, Cass, but I don’t care about Lara’s inner Hufflepuff. I care about getting your life back, and to do that, we need to find her.”

• The girl is tall and blond, in jeans and a sweatshirt and a Slytherin scarf. She looks like she could have walked straight out of the Elephant House.

Tunnel of Bones (Cassidy Blake, #2)

• Ch. 2
• Calling the Tuileries a garden is like calling Hogwarts a school.
  It’s technically correct, but the word really doesn’t do either one justice.

• Ch. 7
• Confession: I don’t love heights. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m afraid of them, but I’ll never be the girl standing on the ledge, arms spread wide, like that moment in Harry Potter when Harry rides a hippogriff for the first time (movie edition, obviously).

• Ch. 8
• “Are those … Harry Potter pajamas?” I ask.
  She looks down at herself. “Just because they’re blue and bronze—”
  “They’re totally Harry Potter pajamas, aren’t they?”
  Lara bristles. “They’re comfortable. If they just happen to accurately represent my chosen house—”

• Ch. 11
• “You speak French?” I cut in.
  “Of course,” says Lara briskly. “And German. They make us take two foreign languages in school. I also know a little Punjabi, thanks to my dad. My parents say language is the most valuable currency. Don’t you know any other language?”
  “I know how to ask for the bathroom in Spanish,” offers Jacob.
  “Um.” I chew my lip. “I memorized all the incantations in Harry Potter.” I look at Jacob. “And I can speak to ghosts.”
  “Obviously not,” says Lara, “or you wouldn’t need me to translate. Look, until we find out who this poltergeist is—was—you don’t stand a chance of winning.”

Goodreads Choice Award：三集都入圍Middle Grade & Children's（2018、2019和2021）

第一集於2018年11月宣佈被CW考慮製作成影集^[Variety]，但應該就是沒成... 因為安靜了好一陣子後直到2021年3月才又有聲音ww，變成ABC Signature來挑戰囉^[Variety]！

不排除日後有需要將我網誌的labels "completed series"和"trilogy"拿掉，當初決定今年（2021年）看，就是因為有粉幫忙回答說，作者說第三集完結（我沒用Instagram啊然後那個人也沒有給連結，但她回覆這個答案超多次，我想實在沒有必要造假還到處宣揚xDDDD），我自己看完後，只覺得如果真的是這樣，未免也太可惜？Schwab老樣子，滿腦子想像力無設限，但感覺執行上不是每次都有好成果。這部，雖然沒有到驚豔我的地步，好歹還是有世界觀，角色關係也很生動，就... 潛力還沒發揮完啦囧 爸媽的電視節目啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊 我想知道開播後的反響啊？？？？？ 可惜。

啊然後，這部我沒有評太高分，是因為我覺得Schwab真的超誇張，恐怖的哈利波特鐵粉，討厭HP的人應該會想摔書吧？開口閉口一直提，我真的沒料到會示愛成這樣🙄️ 後來整個覺得很偷懶，自己不好好形容環境，一直套用「讀者大概看過HP機率偏高、拿它來做比較」就覺得，我到底是來回顧HP、找虛擬的HP同好、還是來看原創小說？

我說誇張不是隨便污衊～給！>[此系列提及哈利波特的統整列表]< 自己評估一下囉！
